Alice in Wonderland

Alice is bored sitting by the river when she spots a White Rabbit in a waistcoat. He’s muttering “I’m late!” and checking a pocket watch. Curious, Alice follows him down a rabbit hole and tumbles into Wonderland. Wonderland is a weird, magical world where nothing makes sense. Alice grows taller and smaller after eating and drinking strange things. She meets odd characters like the Cheshire Cat, the Mad Hatter, the Queen of Hearts who yells “Off with their heads!”, and plays croquet with flamingos as mallets. It’s a wild, dreamlike adventure where logic doesn’t work and every page has a new surprise. Alice just wants to make sense of it all and find her way home. Classic fantasy full of nonsense, wordplay, and strange creatures. Perfect for kids in grades 3-7 who love weird adventures and imaginative worlds. Written in 1865 but still a favorite today.
