The objective of teaching this subject is to give students an in depth knowledge of various electronic audio and video devices and systems. Further this subject will introduce the students with working principles, block diagram, main features of consumer electronics gadgets/goods/devices. This in-turn will develop in them capabilities of assembling, fault diagnosis and rectification in a systematic way. Learning Outcomes After completion of the subject, the students will be able to: understand the various type of microphones and loud speakers. to identify the various digital and analog signal. describe the basis of television and composite video signal. describe the various kind of colour TV standards and system. compare the various types of digital TV system. understand the various type of consumer goods.
