English for career

English for Career is a language skills workbook prescribed as core text for the First Degree Programme under CBCSS. It is meant for study by students of the BA/BSc/Career Related 2(a) for Semester III and 2(b) for Semester II Language Course at University of Kerala. The book has been designed to help students build skills in reading, writing, listening and speaking, which are essential for success in career-oriented examinations as well as the competitive job market. It consists of modules on vocabulary, grammar and reading comprehension, with an additional module consisting of remedial exercises for practice. The workbook format of the book provides a practical and effective classroom experience for both students and teachers and helps students hone their cognitive, logical, verbal and analytical skills for better performance in the General English component of competitive exams.
