Identification & Publication Details ​Work Title: Haft Qulzum (هفت قلزم), designated in the colophon as Farhang-e Rifat, Musamma ba-Haft Qulzum ("The Exalted Lexicon, Titled The Seven Seas"). ​Volume: Volume 1,2,3,4 ​Language & Script: Persian, printed in traditional Naskh/Nastaliq typography. ​Place of Printing: Dar al-Saltanat Lakhnau (Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh), at the Royal Court Press of Awadh. ​Date of Printing: 15th of Muharram, 1236 AH (approximately October/November 1820 CE). ​Patronage: Commissioned and published under the direct order of Ghazi-ud-Din Haidar (r. 1814–1827), who had assumed the royal title of King of Awadh in 1819. It was compiled by court scholars (notably Maulvi Qabul Muhammad) to serve as the definitive royal Persian lexicon and grammar of the era.
