This is an urban-ish book centred around a broken family- estranged drug addicted daughter, bastard child, ignored sister, prematurely dead father. The book uses the typical elements that mess up the modern-day urban youth. Everyone with a baggage of the past, crawling towards a future that they hope would be better. Throw in a stranger PG who is an independent witness to the drama of the family with demons of his own and a pet turtle who is part of the furniture. Add a drowning accident and a stay in Prague and you’ve pretty much covered the key elements of the entire story.
